Bio

Narrative/Stage: Alexander holds a Masters in Filmmaking from the prestigious London Film School and has spent the past decade writing, directing, and producing narrative and documentary work. Alexander has operated under his production company, NORTH130, since 2021 and his dedication to filmmaking has been recognized with support from the Panavision New Filmmaker Program for his short film, ‘Top Shot.’

- He recently wrote the 100-page, feature script of ‘Top Shot,’ and is in the early stages of getting it made.

- In addition to his love for film, Alexander is presently venturing into stage directing with a 1-Year Directing Program at The Barrow Group.

Sports Commercial/Music Video: Alexander is also delving into the sports commercial and music video worlds- having recently directed, produced, and edited a spec commercial for the New York Knicks and a music video for Genie the Band.

- His narrative focus in sports includes: fan stories, the humans behind the jerseys/helmets, and city’s/state’s collective love for their teams.

- He has also worked alongside the NBA and WNBA since 2022 as a Content Coordinator, providing a refined viewing experience for users on a nightly basis via the NBA and WNBA’s Official Apps.

Producing: Beyond producing the majority of his directorial work, Alexander collaborates on a myriad of projects. Notably, he was an associate producer for Lauren Minnerath’s 2022 SXSW Short, ‘Clare,’ and took on various roles during production for the second season of HBO’s ‘Murder on Middle Beach,’ including Story Producing. He is currently one of the producers on writer/director/actor, Jonny Rio’s short film, ‘When the River Rose.’ The short is set to shoot in Spring 2024 and stars Rob Raco.
